you are misunderstanding his statement. texas requested injunctive relief. they would hear the case, but not issue an injunction. that is a fair take.
That is my interpretation as well. They are ready to hear it but not willing to provide emergency relief to stop Electoral certification process.
Maybe Rudy was confused...

oh i dont think hes confused. the SCOTUS did reject the case. Alito and thomas dissented against that rejection
