i've also read some good explanation as to the end of December likely being quite accurate in regards to the day of Jesus' birth.

Winter solstice occurs prior to the 25th, right? So maybe that could be true.

Making no claims, just that things are interesting to study, that's for sure.

I've heard astronomy referenced as a guide.. this site has it as Feb 28 https://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Jesus_Christ

Wiki has it between March and April- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_of_Bethlehem#Double_occultation_on_Saturday_(Sabbath)_April_17,_6_BC

And this theological website places it as late Aug / early Sep https://www.biblestudy.org/maps/birth-of-jesus-timeline.html

Average = 1 snowfall day per year in Bethlehem. Probably not an issue.

Yes, and I was told they do that during lambing season, which is not December. It is very nice, if the Lamb of God was born during lambing season.

Another thing, Joseph and Mary were in Bethlehem to be taxed, don't they know what day/time period that tax happened?
