Serious question: What happens if Joe Biden becomes to sick or dies before the inauguration? Does that mean Kamala will step in?

Yeah obviously I want Trump to win but if Biden were to win but become sick/ die or be arrested before January 20th would Kamala take over and be inaugurated?

Serious question, just would like to know what would be the procedure.

I think Biden has to be inaugurated before Harris can step up.
