and let's not forget about that big dip in flu deaths, while "Covid" spiked. Now we'll stop counting them as "Covid" deaths, and we'll have to go back labelling them as flu deaths. Flu deaths will suddenly spike, therefore we need to keep wearing the masks.
How's that working out for you in grocery stores in particular? I've been rudely run out of like convenience stores, small businesses, restaurants, etc. Don't collect $200, don't pass go, get out, or I'm calling the police. I'd like to say fine, I just won't do business here, but if I spend 30 minutes filling my grocery cart and get up to the checkout counter, I'm going to want to eat next week. Are you getting turned away in grocery stores?
I go everywhere and will NOT wear a muzzle. I have been asked if I have a mask at two places, Suburban Lawn and Garden (FFS!) over the summer and recently at a local gas station that I frequent.
The SLuG door greeter told me I would not be allowed to buy anything without wearing a mask. I walked around the place not wearing one and he did not try to stop me. Totally not about health/safety. I did not test his declaration and I will not be going back there. WTF.
At my gas station, the lady at the counter asked if I had a mask and I just shook my head. She left me alone and I made my purchase.
At my local grocery store, no one says anything and I buy groceries there all the time. I even went today. One lady at the service counter asked me a few weeks ago if anyone ever said anything to me in the store and when I said "no", she said a few cuntstomeres have called the Health dept. on people that were not wearing masks. She said the Health dept. comes but there is NOTHING they can do because they know there is NO legal authority to do anything about it. That is the bottom line folks. There is NO legal means to force us to wear a mask.
You can get groceries delivered if it comes to that... Boxed, Jet... even Wal-Mart delivers food (I live way out in the sticks and I can and do get stuff this way.)
The smaller businesses usually get the hint first. Also, a note: The C-Stores don't make shit by selling gas (they often sell that at a slight loss), they survive on those impulse buys in the store.
I'm just curious though if you buy from the checkout counter at the grocery. I don't want to buy groceries online. That's just me.
You never deal with "small businesses." You deal with ignorant minimum wage clerks. Actually, the funny thing is that every time someone has complained to me about not wearing a mask, either they said that with a straight face with their diaper hanging half off of it, or half the other clerks in the store had theirs hanging half off, including fricking police officers. That of course made no impact to the righteousness with which they attacked me!
I do deal with small businesses when I do go into town. Most are tiny 1-5 employee affairs, and few will demand a mask (the three I know of who do, do so out of fear of being shut down... I don't bother with them. Welcome to rural Oregon. )
Fortunately, the grocery store nearest to me simply looks the other way, and won't care. It's been at least 6 weeks or so since I've been there, though.
"Gargle my balls with these rules. Here's why:"
You don't own me, shitdicks.
THEY ARE LITERALLY MAKING US RESEMBLE CHINA
The pressure is everywhere. It's demoralizing.
Which epidemiologists say? Say their names.
