The President was always meant to be selected by the States (legislature) not the mob. It was meant to be the leader of the states not leader of the mobs.

The HOR was to represent the mob, the people paying the freight!

The Senate again was to represent the interests of the many states.

The commies figured out that the mob had to get control and convinced us to make the Senate a mob beauty contest and convinced the states that they should let the mob select the electors.

First on our list should be repealing the 17th amendment and making the legislatures select the Senator to represent the interests of the many States and not the mob.

Second, revoke the "popular" vote for President.

We are the United STATES of America, not the peoples republic of America.
