I think it's the opposite of giving up. "Trusting the plan" has not been working out for us. For example, whatever happened to the long awaited Durham report???? We need to take serious action to preserve our country and it's values. Holding "stern" congressional hearings does fucking nothing. It's just political theater. Yet that's all "our side" has been doing to fight back.
You might as well write a "stern" letter to your elected official. Most don't actually give a fuck, and that includes the Republican party....
