If you change you W-4 to 0 they will take 0 deductions out, thus you will have the maximum taxes deducted. Someone mention a deduction of 30. That is not allowed, the maximum deductions allowed is 10.

So maximum deduction (10) = minimum withholding by employer = keep more of your money, if I understand correctly.

Next question is whether employers will accept the revised W-4s.

They have to, it is non of their business at all. Ten is the maximum withholding though.

You are correct. Ten is the maximum allowed. You W-4 legally is none of your employers business by federal law. You file it they must accept it.
