There has to be a reason either good or bad. If you trust trump, it will be a good one

I have also come to hate "hold the line".

In every battle, there is a point where the tide will only turn if you push the line.

The left kept pushing and we kept losing ground instead of pushing back.

I agree. Militarily, formations have to change based on the battlefield and the circumstances.

We have had people saying "hold the line" for everything. From police helping AntiFA, to the mainstream media and Big Tech suppressing evidence, to the courts suppressing evidence, and now to the Supreme Court rejecting something outright that almost the entire country involved itself in on both sides.

It got Texas to saber rattle with a hint of secession again, it caused everyone to get riled up into a hot rage.

And then those words started happening all night and day; "hold the line".

Feels a lot like we're being told "would you kindly" and everyone that isn't deemed to be "holding the line" in some arbitrary way with evermoving goalposts gets yelled at, deported, mistreated, etc.

I have personally gotten depressed now; I'm not sure if it's rebound from my rage at SCOTUS last night or if I'm tired mentally or I'm tired physically, or even some combination thereof, but ultimately I am depressed.

I know I'm not the only one who is watching this happen silently, worried about being deported ourselves.

It feels like self sabotage. We should want people riled up. We should want people to get out there. We shouldn't be placating everyone.

I also have to give it to them. They have created a world where violence is the only thing that gets anything done, while also saying that everyone else are the violent ones.

It's accelerated a lot, too.

What's worse is that police always seem to side with AntiFA. And when they have to intervene, they put their backs to us because they know we're not going to stab them in the back; yet they still always help AntiFA. Whether it's herding Trump supporters into them, or arresting Trump supporters for defending themselves, or arresting normal people for going out protesting or not wearing a mask while BLMantiFA ignores all of that and gets away for free.

It's frustrating. I don't want to hold the line. I want to win. I want us to collectively push back. It's so important to stand together but if everyone has to be worried about saying the wrong thing then we're really screwing up here.

The problem we have right now is that we have adopted too many dangerous slogans. ''Hold the line!'' ''Trust the plan!'' ''Trump will win!'' ''STFU Doomers!'' These slogans encourage passive behaviour and shallow tribalism. They discourage proactive behaviour and critical thinking.

You're taking it too fucking literally lol. It's not a strategy. Hold the line is used in a metaphorical sense to just tell people to stay strong. You're getting way too 5head for your own good here.

I am tired. Depressed.

This is the hill we need to die on as a country. Everything is worse from here on out of we don't have Trump in the White House come January 21st. Elections won't matter, China will gain more power and Iran will soon have nuclear weapons.

I am going to get married and hopefully have a kid. I shouldn't have to worry about my family's future every day of my life like this.

It’s beyond Trump at this point. The fight will go on with or without him.

People won’t destroy everything they have to fight until they absolutely have to. At risk of sounding like a Bernie bro, this isn’t over yet. It won’t be until Jan. 20th

I'm reminded of what he told black America in 2016: What have you got to lose?

Seriously Trump, what have you got to lose at this point? Give the Populist Movement what it wants!

Guys, this is chess, not checkers. GEOTUS has so many plays to checkmate it's not even funny. I strongly believe his objective is not JUST to win, but to also prevent a civil war.

He's removing the cancer (which has spread REALLY deep) while trying to save the body. It must be surgical, it must be delicate. It's going to be painful NO MATTER WHAT.

GEOTUS is doing just fine.

2
bill_in_texas 2 points ago +7 / -5

What cancer has he removed, specifically? A handful of 7th floor folks at the FBI? Finally got rid of Mueller? Got rid of some of his very own appointments? The only significant group of government employees that I can think of that Trump has gotten rid of was bad apples at the VA hospital system. I mean, that's good, getting rid of people who were not treating our vets well, but not really getting rid of Marxists in our government.

Lol, look at this guy. Fire people, problem solved.

Don't be naive. You don't get rid of these people by firing them.

Deport, now isn't the time to turn on Trump. IF in a hypothetical universe, we were to get to Jan 20th and Trump did nothing and let Biden make it into office. Then and only then and only predicated on him actually not taking any action, would be the time to discard him.

We still have fucking time and there is still a fucking game at play. You fairweather people need to keep your loyalty in check and continue to hold the line. Or just keep this shit to yourself. Sowing seeds of doubt in the president does nothing to help us here. Absolutely nothing at this point in time.

Now I am also of the opinion that we should be preparing to 1776 in case that hypothetical universe were to ever be real. But I also am extremely confident that Trump will be our president on that very day, and that the traitors will be served justice.

Listen I'm not here to fucking stomp all over you. But it's getting harder and harder to determine doomers from shills these days, and the doomer energy from those that are genuine does come at a cost. I'm ending this with a message of encouragement, and a plea for all of my fellow pedes that are starting to feel blackpilled.

Hold the line a little longer friends. A little fucking longer. We have just a little over a month. Keep your faith and don't let wounds of battle deter you. This is still a psychological war for the moment, so you must stay strong. Organize locally if you can, and maybe we should increase the effort to organize on here. But we have to hold the line a little longer and let this play out. There is the proper time and place to rise up, but now is not that time!

Mark my fucking words, and save this post. Come back to it after January 20th. When all the smoke clears, we will emerge Victorious! Until then, prepare yourself, stay strong, and most importantly HOLD THE FUCKING LINE!

You follow a general into battle until he proves himself unworthy. General Flynn is telling us to hold the line and to keep faith.

That's not entirely true. We don't owe them loyalty just because they are politicians, but we owe them loyalty when they earn it.

It is a symbiotic relationship. They owe us loyalty and faith, but in return when they uphold it we owe them the same until the relationship is corrupted.

Up until this point Trump has beat them in every major debacle and he has shown that he is for us. So we must reciprocate that loyalty for the time being.

This is a chess game. It could never be quick and easy. The roots run too deep. There is still time on the game clock, and we still very much have a fighting chance. We reserve rising up until the game is played out. Rising up is the last resort.

If people that wanted heads to roll quickly got what they wanted, we would likely be watching Ned Stark in Season 1 of Game of Thrones. Again I urge you, hold the line a little bit longer. We will persevere. And also know that if they failed to deliver justice on behalf of we the people, I would be right there beside you to see this through.

Well said. Strong argument for holding the line until Trump says otherwise or if he somehow becomes irrelevant.

1
spkle 1 point ago +1 / -0

Trump isn't a politician, he's the only fucking chance you have at getting to keep your freedom.

Is he not working his ass off? Does he not fight against a ridiculous machine every day, for you?

Stop bitching. Help out.

What are you, a lefty? No? Then stop acting like one.

Conservatives understand that you have to help yourself and if the man standing next to you fails you, you don't start bitching. You accept that everyone is human and reassure them: You have your back.

Do you seriously think that you're talking about a normal political movement?

No. Revolution is coming, one way or the other. Let's hope it's the peaceful way.

Trump is still negotiating with the swamp.

You are talking out of your ass and have presented no evidence to support your claims. You will be proven to be extremely wrong when this all plays out. Until then you can keep patting yourself on the back and spreading blackpills.

Nobody with sensibility only sees it as one man. You are playing between two extremes. Generals play a big part in leading the way, but it is also the foot soldiers and leaders around them that play their major roles. It is a group effort. But your disparaging comments towards the president do no good for the movement.

I'd wager, problem won't be the prosecution, but the state of the courts. Put Giuliani on the case right now, and you will see the same thing as before: Democrat judges debasing themselves and the judicial branch under full cover of the media.
