Well, yes and no. In recreation, I would say they enjoy a degree of freedom of expression, but I totally agree with you that respect for the Commander in Chief is requisite at all times, ESPECIALLY in the public arena, since such disrespect sends a very bad signal to our enemies, whether foreign or domestic. The team was chosen to represent the best of the Navy...and that guy is NOT the best, regardless of his athletic ability. I hope he gets disciplined harshly for that stunt. If I were team coach, I would have benched him IMMEDIATELY for insubordination.
