I feel like I'm not getting the high energy here that I normally come for. There's been an increased surge in doomering, and it's not from shills but from long-time members. They are getting a lot of upvotes. Many here seem as though they are ready to give up, I've even seen several comments with the sentiment of "Trump has played us!"

I never saw the Texas case as the end all be all, but everyone got hyped up for it. Trump's team was already working on this before the Texas thing came out of the blue. The Supreme Court said they wouldn't take the case because Texas wasn't one of the states injured. Fine, we'll take the other routes then as we had been doing. I just don't see how it's the end of the world.

Trump has told us to keep fighting, and that is what we must do. But we can't fight when we have the mentality that we've already been defeated. We must have victory on mind, as victory is what we must aim for.

So, if this community is starting to lean to a defeatist attitude, then I am considering taking a break from here for a while. It doesn't do me any good if my main source of MAGA backup is acting like "it's all over!"
