Also the DNI was with Trump today, it's very likely it's already done or he's at least been briefed on it's current findings. 45 days is the maximum for the assessment and "supporting information" and explicitly calls for it to be delivered to the President.

Just made a similar observation. The 45-day window long ago came and went... if this EO is the Trump card, then the reports directed are already in the President’s custody. The reason so many today think the civil war happened is false. It was not over slavery. He stated that if he could he would overlook slavery to keep the union together. The emancipation proclamation itself was a constitutional violation, no matter what your opinion on slavery. What simple thing am I missing? Sure, 45d after 11/3 is 12/18, but 45d after that is after the inauguration.
The simple thing is that the first report goes to the President too. People are misunderstanding and keep repeating that it won't go to Trump until 90 days, but that's wrong: it's 45 maximum for the DNI assessment.
Also the DNI was with Trump today, it's very likely it's already done or he's at least been briefed on it's current findings. 45 days is the maximum for the assessment and "supporting information" and explicitly calls for it to be delivered to the President.

It "Not later than 45 days after the conclusion of a United States election the Director of National Intelligence... shall conduct an assessment"... has our election concluded?
Then it says "Within 45 days of receiving the assessment ... the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security... shall deliver to the President... a report..."
So, worst case, 45 days for assessment + 45 days for report from AG/DHS to reach DJT. That's 90 days, presumably from 11/3/20. I suppose that report will end up on Biden's desk if all other efforts fail.
The only chance this has in doing anything is if the assessment and reporting are completed well ahead of the 45 + 45 day max.

This is the first time I've read this. Very interesting. "No more than 45 days after the election..." - there is a finite timeline in which something must happen, and it's close! I have been a bit bummed lately, but this reads like Trump and his team knew EXACTLY what was going to happen. For all we know, this report, may have already been carried out and delivered to the President. 2018 midterms might have served as a trial run to gather intel on fraud, who’s committing it, and who in positions of power is enabling it to occur. We’re all reading this as if 45 days and 45 days puts a time limit on this, when it’s theoretically possible the work is already in the President’s hands. Just my brief take..

Just made a similar observation. The 45-day window long ago came and went... if this EO is the Trump card, then the reports directed are already in the President’s custody. This EO was set in motion at time of signing, presumably for a trial run during the 2018 midterms. At least that’s one possible interpretation
The crazy part is that this E.O. is exactly what Democrats were screaming for after the 2016 election. They claimed that the Trump team didn't take "meddling" seriously and congress had all sorts of investigations into foreign influence.
Yet the Trump team put out this E.O. to zero fanfare at the time. It's just another example of them accusing our side of whatever they are into to preempt any charges of sticking to them.
If you were a Democrat in the first couple years of Trump's first term, this executive order is all you could have asked for to prevent meddling in the 2016 election. Or at least be able to do a post-mortem and catch whoever was responsible after the fact.

Trump + team noticed what they did, they noticed how the Dems cheated with the mail in ballots and got away with it because no one was really paying attention since Trump wasn’t on the ballot. And you know how the Republicans generally are... they don’t really fight back. Trump knew they were going to use this exact same method in 2020 so he quickly signed the EO.
