My husband and I bought some in TX from Cabela's. You fill in a tablet with s bunch of info and questions... lots of signatures and checking of your ID. Then they do the background check right then and there by running your info through some system. Only takes like a minute to do that part.

It's definitely lengthier than buying a candy bar, but you can actually walk out with a gun eigjt then and there as opposed to having to wait like in many other states.
