Retired Soldier, I could attest to that. When I joined, we had Vietnam Veterans in our senior ranks (officer and enlisted), the Soviet Union still existed, and the military didn't take s*. The social experimentation was pushed in shortly after the post Soviet Union disintegration draw-dawn began. I was in the Navy during that time.

Many of the people in charge now, in the Navy, were the first batches of snowflakes who benefited from the political correctness and the kid gloves treatment. If we tried to hold them accountable like were were held accountable, we were demonized. So, it doesn't come as a surprise that many in the Navy's leadership are cucked. It wasn't always that way. I saw the Army headed in that direction over the past 10 years.

It started about 2003 in the army started worrying about recruits feelings and gave them a stress card they could raise if the drill Sargent was to mean.
