Yes. Kumala is nothing. She was not elected, Biden picked here. She just comes with the package. I've seen people before saying that they were gonna drop Biden and put up Kamala before the election/inauguration, but that can't happen. Kamala is ineligible to be the president. She is nothing UNLESS Biden is inaugurated first. After that, it becomes possible for her to take over.
So let’s say Biden drops dead tomorrow (or withdraws as canadate) and all trumps lawsuits fail, what happens?
I have no idea, because that is completely unprecedented. If it is AFTER the electors send in there votes, I literally have no clue. I believe the President doesn't become the president until inauguration, so that wouldn't make Kamala become president since she was never actually Vice president. If it is before, I suppose it would be on them on them to figure out what to do.
Possibly Pelosi would become President.
OR, Trump would use his 2018 EO and just say fuck it, he's dead anyways, so I'm staying whether you like it or not.
