The only thing that will kick off the necessary split is a few patriots willing to take a stand.

Go down to rural Virginia outside of DC, and make a declaration to the press "We don't accept this false election, and we're within marching distance of DC" Don't say you're going to actually do anything,just be very lawyerly vague, but everyone will get the picture. Hundreds of thousands of patriots will join.

This will force a stand-off, leading to a split/backing-down of Federal power, as no one, not even Democrats, are stupid enough to start a Civil War.
