Prayer and fasting. Skip a breakfast lunch or dinner, coffee even, and pray to God. Remember him and his works and thank him. Give praise to God, even if we lose our country, because he is sovereign over all things and worthy of our worship.

Pray for our nation, our people who are blinded by Satan, and the world as a whole. Pray for our enemies, pray for justice and continue to pray.

I will be fasting tomorrow and I want as many of you as are willing to join me. The Bible has many examples of nations coming to repentance through fasting and prayer. In fasting they sought God’s face and many times he shows mercy on them.

This is not a spiritual tool to get what we want. This is a return to the living God. That being said he says this, “if my people who are called by my name, turn from their wicked ways and seek my face, I will hear from heaven and heal their land.”
