Hey, everyone. I know it's a bit late to make this request of you, but I know there's a lot of faithful Pedes out there, and I figured, hey, how could it possibly hurt?

Tomorrow, it being the Lord's Day, I was planning on making it a full day of fasting and prayer, for our President, and for our Nation. And I thought, well, maybe some of you would like to join in with me. Not gonna set any rules, any goals, any anything like that. Just if anyone interested can take some time tomorrow to forego a meal or two, and pray for what's right to win out in this, the last bastion of freedom and righteous rule in the world.

That's all. Just wanted to make this request, of any who would listen. And thank you, to any who would join in.

FASTING ON SUNDAYS HAS ALWAYS BEEN FORBIDDEN.

" From the very earliest days, the Church has declared that Sunday, the day of Christ's Resurrection, is always a feast day, and therefore fasting on Sundays has always been forbidden. Since there are six Sundays in Lent, we have to subtract them from the days of fasting. Forty-six minus six is forty.

That's why, in the West, Lent starts on Ash Wednesday – to allow a full 40 days of fasting before Easter Sunday. "

You must lead a pretty sheltered life ,do you really think for one minute that down through the Ages Farmers etc slaved away in the fields from dawn to dusk 6 days a week to fast on their day of rest ??You have never been to a church that held a Sunday feast after mass ,to make sure the poor can feast to celebrate the resurrection ?? This is a pretty good indication of your actual faith & understanding of the Bible
