Journalists report the news. The news is an account of things that happened. “The President said this.” “Congress voted on that.” “This elected official had an affair with so and so.”

The job of the news is not to pick and choose what to report. The job of the news is not to editorialize and make assumptions. The job of the news is not to tell you what to think.

Lets call these people what they really are. Propagandists.
