Ignorant leaders without skin in the game should not be making these decisions without proper consultation with those that are affected most. Especially if their party thinks they can toy with people's livelihoods for political hack jobs to bring Trumps economy to a halt.
Rules should be that anyone who does a lockdown takes no salary or income of any kind until it's over, except any relief measures available to everyone. The rest of what they'd make goes towards funding those relief measures.
