Lockdowns do massive damage. No offence but detaining a group of random Chinese people or any sampling of people is not going to bring the world to a halt. It’s a safe position to take with no downside for our society, just an annoyance for those individuals. Anyone who is freedom loving would volunteer for such a thing. I see your username so perhaps you’re a bit biased on this point. But China needs to get sorted. And no one should want this to happen more than whichever Chinese people are themselves anti communist.
