Like I said in another comment, individuals must make disciplined, educated decisions in those moments. I won't be critical of people who are forced to make hard decisions because of other peoples' actions. However, I will never advocate for preparations that are illegal or cause undue harm. Taking actions to stop a threat is the only justifiable position.
