Basically yes, they punted on a technicality because they really, really don't want to overturn an election unless they know with absolute certainty it's justified. I think the supremes are just doing what they do.

Yes.

Everyone turned into a fucking doomer overnight. The Texas lawsuit came out of nowhere and it vanished just as fast. GEOTUS didn't seem worried before it and certainly doesn't seem worried after it.

Rudy's cases are the ones I'd focus on.

This ruling also shows impartiality on behalf of the court so if the 3 that "flipped" rule on one of the other cases that may end up there, Dems have no complaint if they rule in favour of the constitution, because they've already shown themselves to be impartial.
