They will 100% say (as I've had this argument with friends) that "well there's so many people not following the orders because of Trump". But most cases are in Dem strongholds and you'd be an absolute idiot to believe those people follow anything Trump says AND the cases in every country went up around the same time as well. So Trump is influencing everyone in Italy too? And Spain? The UK? And Canada?

I looked at New York's flu charts. You can compare to past years there going back three years. We're at week 49.
In 2020 NY is just below 300 reported cases statewide; in 2019 they had over 1800, in 2018 just over 600, and in 2017 just below 600.
So it's at half of an average year. Can't imagine why.

While you're at it, look at the pneumonia, it's through the roof -- coincidentally, at the same time as COVID peaked in NY.
The flu has been on a major upwards trend for several years.(u til this year of course).
17 and 18 are about the same, 19 was a big spike, then 20 it's like it just went away
