Today I am praying to God for our nation, if you’d like to join me let’s honor God together. I am not eating today as a part of my fast so if you’d like to fast with me, there are many examples in the Bible of nations repenting through this.

Fasting is simply giving up what’s important to you, to specifically spend time with and call out to God. Food is one of the most popular ways to do so. If you’d like to skip a breakfast, lunch or dinner (or all three) and pray with me, that will be great!

Remember the Lord this Sunday. Repent and return to him in prayer. Spend a little time in sculpture if you’re curious about any of this and there are examples of fasting. I’d recommend Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
