You have to actually be charged for double jeopardy to apply.

Example: Manafort. The DOJ went after him for his taxes years ago but didn't have enough evidence.

Weissman, using the Mueller SC as a vehicle, re-opened the investigation. He then "found" sufficient evidence to charge him.


So no, simply being investigated for a crime doesn't provide double jeopardy protection from that crime.

Yes. The Hunter crap is a distraction from election fraud. The most important thing we are facing is election fraud because it gets worse if it’s allowed to stand; if it’s not we may have a chance. If the election isn’t overturned, nothing happens. If it is, likely nothing happens, but just more evidence to keep the fight up.
