Leadership is one of those things that, when you earn, you're taught along the way that it's a burden and a responsibility because at the end of the day, the buck stops with you. Most women in today's society have been handed leadership without ever being taught this simple rule and thus, view it as something that they're deserving of because they're a woman. This leads to them hating smarter people in the room and elevating people that they like instead of people that do the job well. It leads to tyrannical behavior because they're constantly in fear that people will realize just how unqualified they are because they never earned their position.

One of the major differences between men & women is that men think more logically while women think emotionally. This is a generalization - and, of course, has its exceptions. I'm a woman with a logical mind who gets frustrated talking to most women. Once again, stop promoting people based on gender/ethnicity and find someone who is RIGHT for the job. Soy Boys don't do well in leadership either.

It's simpler than that.

Women are biologically more likely to go along with group consensus.

Men are biologically more likely to take risks and go against the group.

Top-level leadership requires more of the latter than the former.

I think there is also a "don't raise your voice" aspect.

Men raise raise their voice naturally to bring issues out and women don't like that. It makes it harder to for issues to become apparent, known and fixed.
