Yeah, I watched it a few months back and it jumped out at me. Feels like it was toward the end of series, where they had bill bye and Niel tyson on, stuck in some bubble.
It was going down hill towards the end of SG-1. I did NOT like Stargate universe. Stargate: Atlantis was pretty good imo. I was hoping we would get another stargate series but then I thought about all the new sjw bullshit they would probably put in it. Just enjoy the good ones we had I guess.
Also wouldn't mind a open world rpg stargate game. 3rd person, free roam style game. Preferably BGS/ ROCKSTAR/ CD PROJEKT RED would be best suited to tackle that. BGS is doing Starfield next so I doubt they would ever do it.
Was bored about a year ago and just for fun started watching an episode and it brought me back to when I was a kid. Restarted from beginning. I kept feeling like this is it, series is over, then bam new season.. i didnt want to spoil it, so I just kept watching.. I had no fucking idea there were so many episodes. After the series ended, I was legit in withdrawal. Found Atlantis and that was awesome. Then found SGU. I really liked SGU. Only flaw was not bringing in McCay day one with the stones. The movies made off the series was a joke. Then I found the expanse. Super legit, but seems like the writers are slacking. As soon as I saw the ring in the expanse, I was like; ITS A STARGATE!!!! LOL
Yea, SG-1 ran AWHILE. Not sure how many seasons SGU had. I watched em all and just couldn't get with that one. And Rodney McCay is basically what gave Atlantis it's humor. Him and John Sheppard made it really. I also didn't care much for stargate: origins. Was decent but felt it lacked behind SG-1 AND ATLANTIS.
Edit: I would also like to add that the first stargate movie in 1994 Starring Kurt Russel as jack o' Neal looked really good for it's day. The visuals and designs were, imo, wayy ahead of it time.
