I actually thought of trying to play D&D online during the quarantine when I was bored out of my mind. Offered to DM for a group. They had a long questionnaire, including my opinions about LGBT people.
I was like: "Do what you like on your private life, but I'm not learning special lingo."
Oh man there are people that even came up with some D&D alternative because D&D with all its races and strongly tied racial traits is apparently racist.....
It’s a fucking game, you can literally be anything, but the non-binary political correct soyboys think it’s racist that dwarfs make good barbarians, elves make good bards, etcetera...
I guess they’ll be burning LOTR books 3 years from now....

I won't even get into why that's stupid.
Hell, I like to run games where all the players are the same race, just because it makes their home setting more unique.
If all the players of Dwarves with membership in different clans, guilds, family grudges, etc and then go to a human town that's different to them in similar ways... I find that way more interesting than the Mos Eisley Space port where everyone's different and therefore no one is interesting. Does that make sense?
I actually really, really want to run a game where the Orcs charge into the elf village, burn it down, assault the citizens, and chant: "Orc Lives Matter! Orc Lives Matter!"

Can't we just be more inclusive towards Orcs? Doesn't anyone else find it "problematic" that orcs are depicted as an evil race?
