Not when you roll your own. .375 & .408.

Firearms chambered for those cartridges do not become wall hangars if you adapt to the situation. Brass is imminently malleable, and wiildcatting has ruled the development of new cartridge design since the turn of the last century.

The .300 Blackout is nothing but blown-out and trimmed .223 Rem brass.

.223 Rem/5.56mm will get it done, but to really reach out, and have some punch left when it gets there, perhaps the Lapua or Cheyenne Tactical are the way to go. And of course not displayed ...papa bear the .50 BMG when an engine block must be destroyed at hundreds of yards.
