I can't figure this out. The create a post function I'm using now won't accept a pic even though it's within size spec and has the proper extension. Awhile ago, someone suggested using MAGA upload. I tried that as well, but then end up with a link and not an image. Wtf am I so stupid?

Yes, I've tried that. However, the create post functions are photo, link and text. Are you just selecting the create link post option and then adding the image link? Does the system then sort it out and add the camera icon?
That's how I do it.
In a few minutes it automatically generates a thumbnail as well.
