I used to think that way when I was younger. Then 9/11 happened and I saw how people behaved afterward. Later, Covid happened and I saw a lot of the supposed “smart folks” who didn’t buy all the “terrorism” boogeyman fear, totally 100% in line with the “virus” boogeyman fear. The difference is this time, the stupid fearmongerers have even more control over our daily lives.
It's easy to look at history and go: Those people were so dumb, that would neeeever happen again with todays smarts.
