We know Trump doesn't think twice about firing someone. Hell, he even had a show on NBC that gave him the reputation. He's fired TONS of people he appointed, from Sessions, to Comey to Krebs, et. al.

My question? "If Trump really is displeased with Barr, why hasn't he fired him"? Is it all subterfuge? Is Barr possibly the ace in the hole? What's going on?

All it means when Trump fires someone is that he has no further use for them.

That can mean they're a white hat and another white hat comes along who is more useful in that position, or they're a black hat and he's setting them up, or they're a grey hat who's being used and set up at the same time, etc. and all manner of shades in between.

There are so many moving parts it's impossible for us to know what the master plan is. The notion that "we should be able to figure it all out" is baffling to me. Most of us are just normies trying to murderboard this all out with open-source intel, which probably amounts to 20% or less of the total information that exists on the relevant topics/players. I'm not saying we should give up trying to make sense of it all, but we also need to be realistic about the part where we're not seeing anything close to the whole picture.
