There’s this thing in Burgerland called “the Americans with Disabilities Act” which requires that business entities make reasonable accommodations for people who medically cannot comply with whatever requirements they have. For stores that usually means online ordering or curbside pickup or mobility scooters. For airlines, there fundamentally aren’t any, so United’s choices in this situation were
