Take it offline. Speak in person to people u know in your area, and network out from there. Opsec is critical, you dont want people to come for your guns before that. Trust no one. At the worst, its just wasted time on a larp, but if shtf, it could save lives.

Build networks in person, not online. Have strong local presence.

Problem is leaving out many new (including I) who are every bit as concerned as plankowners.... Might want to consider....

Get to know your neighbours, if you havent yet. Cities will be beset by looting at the start, so get supplies first while you can. First aid kit as well, if you dont have one. I think if you are out in the burbs, you will have more time. Read up on serbia, its possibly the closest. Its a depressing read though.

The instant it gains three members, the site must be considered compromised and necessarily separated from others. It in effect must become a cell with a cell leader who in turn is a member of another cell that allows for messages to be carried up and down a tree of cells.

Its the only way to keep things from being compromised and is tremendously unwieldy.Until such time as this method is really needed, it is best to hide in plain site.

I'm reminded of the article written by Claire Wolfe (not a relative) where she says, “America is at that awkward stage; it's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards.”

The fact is that time appears to be soon withon us -- soon enough to begin checking ammo supplies. But I have not yet seen a good way for everyone to band together and share information. The closest I see to anything is the Proud Boys. But damn, its all getting awfully close.

Its just not possible to code something, and have 3 or more members without it becoming compromised. Herein lies the problem -- who do you trust and who is not to be trusted? Internet accessibility excludes security. There is just now way of knowing if you are dealing with an FBI agent, a snitch, or a liberal and thereby excluding them from a site.

Its just not possible. And I believe that is what is hampering things from taking off now. A time will come when things just boil over so bad that nobody gives a damn anymore. Thats when it goes ballistic. Such things always are middle class actions, and the middle class is still concerned about jobs, future employment, and the like to an extent they do not want to risk it.

However, right now you see and hear a ton of noise. What you want to watch carefully for is when everything goes dead silent. When that happens, either grab your gun and hit the streets or hide out in a bunker somewhere. Things get real quiet just before shit breaks loose.

We are headed your way in the new year actually, plans already in place to do so. How does one get vetted, I would like to be in the loop when it comes to local matters once we get settled in.

For some basic background, I am a writer by trade, but I am also good with food preservation and pantry management. Hubby can build and fix just about everything, his field is micro scale hard rock gold mining and processing ore. We old, but healthy.

Just an off the topic question just out of curiousity. Can you fly an Aerostar 601 light twin?

Cool! I'm impressed. Add me to your list of fellow discontents.

For members of AAA, their centers have the old paper maps for free.

I don't use gps, and these come in extremely handy.

Q:what about traffic cameras?

I knew a guy who was in the Korean War and used encripted hilltop semaphore over long distances, with binoculars i suppose.
