Obama did a similar thing in 2010. The changes don't even occur until the 5th or 6th person in the chain. It seems to bump Anthony Tata, undersecretary of defense policy up a level. unless the deputy sec of defense and secretary of every branch of the military becomes unavailable, this document is relatively irrelevant.

Unless they are unable to perform the duties of acting sec of defense. the removal of every branch of the military is just too unfathomable. Especially since the millitary is mostly on Trumps side, or at least would fulfill their oaths.

Well, you have to look at what is changed. From obama's Executive Order 13533

Probably done now as people move in and out of positions and are shifted around the government in an especially active time.

how about the military hiding their activities from trump so he thought they were pulled out of countries we were actively in?
