I'm not sure the Supreme Court said the President does not have standing. I think they said Texas does not have standing for relief. I believe before this is all over a case or maybe several go to the Supreme Court. Still, the ultimate constitutional authority is with the state legislatures though.
I don't think their unwillingness to hear the case said that. They said if any one has been injured by the actions of these battleground states, then they can submit a complaint....and maybe the court will provide a remedy, or maybe they won't. The elected body that has the power to end this mess is the state legislatures...the supreme court only has a role when an individual or group of individuals can demonstrate injury or a violation of constitutional rights by the actions of the other states.
I don't get why you're still giving them benefit of the doubt.
"Uh, okay, they say no standing, so I just need to get standing now and all will be fine!"
Understand that standing is a lawyer talk for "fuck off, we don't want to get involved". You people continue to assume the system is fine and you just need to try harder to appease it to get your 5 minutes in court. Won't happen.

The problem with all this is people don't understand how the system works.
No standing means "fuck off, we're not doing shit for you". SCOTUS made clear that they aren't gonna help Trump, period.
