Also, we see how divided this country is - is it not possible simply that more people voted for Biden? I completely agree that the mail in voting activated more people than normally would have gone to the polls and since more people in this country self identify as Democrats or in favor of a more liberal agendas then it would make sense that the bulk of those votes would go toward Biden.

Incorrect, liberal is a dirty word. Most people identify as conservative or moderate. Liberals make up like 20% of the population.
Also, most of these people did not vote. We have the evidence. Phone banks have been enlisted to ask people who never voted, if they did indeed vote this time (as there is a ballot cast for them) and they are saying nope, they didn't vote.
