I know Pence is vested with the authority but I wonder if Trump will let it get that far. It would put so much of the responsibility on Pence and Trump has always seemed like the leader who took responsibility himself. My bet is he triggers the EO before Christmas.

I agree with you

Agreed. I don't think Trump will put Pence in that position. Plus, you know it would be contested in court by the Dems, and it could very well not turn out in his favor. I'm betting on the EO as well.

True, but if the Dems contest in court it buys more time and denies them the run out the clock strategy.

12/18 is the deadline

1
how_could 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah it's the deadline for the report to be turned in but that's the end deadline, could already be submitted even. I actually think this recent hacking of the Treasury will move the timetable UP. My thoughts are the last hurdle is getting the Governors and state officials to finalize their crimes which is tomorrow.

Very interesting point. However, the ambiguity of the law regarding these things is on our side

The point is to force a contested election in which it goes to a house-state vote. It would appear that per our constitution, any member of the legislature can send an elector.

SCOTUS might have given us a great gift in that they told us we can straight fuck the other side and they're not getting involved.

Yeah at this point it will be chaos but so be it.

A lot of references are made of the 1960 election.

2
DelveDeeper 2 points ago +2 / -0

Oh SCOTUS will quickly get involved if something is done which harms the dems

My understanding is if things go this route where the house is forced to choose POTUS, each state gets one vote. Republican states had absolutely fucking BETTER vote for Trump; obviously dem states will vote for the CCP, hospice patient and heels up. But it doesn't matter since Republicans control MORE state legislatures than communists. We win. :-D This thread here is pretty epic & explains it quite well, IMO. It contains stuff I've been hearing since 11/3 from multiple sources, so it does NOT strike me as speculative at all.

OP your title and the tweets contents do not match...at all. It says they're going to cover "an announcement" and you're "confirming" something the tweet doesn't even say...

It’s based on his earlier comments. I couldn’t post them both. Nevada pledged Trump elector announced they were sending a dual slate of electors. Then this announcement was made

DrinkTeaNotKoolaid 6 points ago +6 / -0

Any other indications of what this entails? RSBN is legit but announcement could mean many things?

6
Legalvotesonly1 [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

This comes after a republican pledged elector for Trump said Nevada GOP was sending Trump electors

10
DrinkTeaNotKoolaid 10 points ago +10 / -0

So this signals a contested election despite Nevada certifying?

Been told courage is infectious, more so than COVID. Let’s pray theses brave electors infect others.

I’m guessing AZ follows suit. If AZ and PA do as well we have a tied election

2
dannypipes75 2 points ago +2 / -0

How is that confirmed? Who is that guy?

2
Legalvotesonly1 [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

It’s based off a leak from a Nevada pledged Trump electoral college voter

1
dannypipes75 1 point ago +1 / -0

Where are you hearing this?

1
Legalvotesonly1 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nevada Trump electorate

1
dannypipes75 1 point ago +1 / -0

I understand that but who is the source?

1
Legalvotesonly1 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

The Nevada pledged Trump voter himself. It will be announced tomorrow

1
dannypipes75 1 point ago +1 / -0

Okay, maybe you don’t understand my question. I get the story, what is the source? Where is a this information coming from?

2
PatriotPepe 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm not sure what Trump is up to, but whatever it is, the left and the MSM is going to REEEE in a most epic fashion.

Assuming this is true, I don’t get it all. As I understand it, by state law each party selected its own electors. The electors who get to vote are those who represent the candidate who won the popular vote in the state. Unless the state legislature picks a different slate, it would seem that the republican chosen electors have no authority if the election was certified to the democrat. I don’t see how Pence can say they are electors and thus are competing slates, unless they were chosen by the legislature. Am I off on this?

1
Legalvotesonly1 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’m under the same impression as you. However, since two slates will come in Pence may be able to invalidate the state. Constitutional scholars all debate about this and the law isn’t very clear.

1
Niburc 1 point ago +1 / -0

I can see perhaps a bunch of legislators submitting a slate even without majority vote. But not the electors on their own motion.

Legalvotesonly1 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

That’s what I am referring to
