How the fuck are small businesses expected to survive this bullshit lockdown? I am a part owner of a small business and haven’t taken a dime of salary or pay since we opened in February. My partner relies on the very little business we are able to do to survive. Filed for relief for the PPP and were denied. No income reported last year so no recourse this year. But the govt still taxed us for the franchise tax for the Llc. Sickens me that the govt is considered essential and those commie Californians don’t even go to work and still get paid?

Did I miss the free handout for small businesses or are they all truest struggling?

This. From a handshake, no less. Glad someone gets it.

Those options don’t exist at present. Isn’t the great reset the same as agenda 2030? So what for the next 10 years?

It’s a grab by big business. “cooperative capitalism” appears to be the new buzzword they’re trying out.

It’s a service based business. I get it, we attempted to take it online, but without startup capital that was hard to do. I work full time, but helped with the business development. It just frustrates me that the govt didn’t forgo taxes on startups with income less that 100k or something like that.

It is totally about control and pushing out small businesses.

Authoritarian State Managed Capitalism seems to be the game plan and small businesses are too difficult to wrangle into following specific policies. The expectation seems to be that you’ll just be getting employed by Amazon or another major corporation. Walmart has this model on lock with their employees claiming social welfare benefits then spending those benefits at Walmart.
