Until you realize that most of the world is still living like its a time before the industrial age. Hell many still live in quasi stone age conditions. China is like that. Only the ruling Han sect are the ones living in the modern cities. The other 3/4 of the population live like peons of old or with just enough technology to be productive for the city dwellers. China is much like the scenario The Hunger Games books set out. A small ruling class with all the technology living in high tech cities as the bulk of the population live in poverty growing the food and mining the materials in scattered towns and villages with no contact between them.
It’s really eye opening for Americans the first time they visit Japan. We are told for years how advanced technologically Japan is and then you go into any modern business there and see them using Windows XP computers and fax machines from the 90s.
The media makes us believe Asia is some future model for society. They are more ass backwards thank some meth-dens in Appalachia. They do it with Europe too. The media does anything to make America look like a bunch of dumb Hicks living in shacks in the woods, but the reality is it is most of the rest of the world that is like this.
Yep. I've traveled the world and no where is as clean, organized, efficient and modern as the U.S.. Dem cities are the norm for many outside of our country.
