Without a return to absolute truth, nothing will change. A Christian perspective shaped western culture along with Greek philosophy and Roman law. However, the metaphysical belief that we are creatures with free will and accountable for what we do became unacceptable.

The result is that ideas have now become ideology and laws are now totalitarian. This is exactly what happened in Russia, eventually leading to the formation of the USSR and ultimate collapse.

This is our ultimate path. We must collapse, to build back up again.

You know it's very serendipitous that I read your comment. I just starting reading the Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky and it was interesting to see the book and the author eloquently set the stage for what we are going through through the lens of 19th century Russia.

Him starting is young life as a revolutionary Socialist and Atheist and slowly finding pieces of God in his heart throughout the rest of his life. I strongly recommend everyone read Brothers Karamazov if you read 1 novel in your life read that one, it goes into fantastic and stunning depth into these issues.

Nietzsche understood this too. “God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?”

Not to shit on you but let's keep this concrete. A steal is being committed by deep state dems and republicans. We need to be out in the streets protesting. Votes get provably stolen. They can't steal us from the streets.

Trump says it himself, he might not want to do 2024, and who can blame him? His own party isn't protecting him from the theiving democrats. WE HAVE TO BE THE ONES PROTECTING HIM! Republican insiders will only listen to us if we show our strenght. Our leverage is the Georgia election. STOP THE STEAL or we will fuck these collaborating republicans, right up in the ass!

Slight correction, Roman law doesn't have as much to do with us as you think. US law stems directly from English common law.

4
FireannDireach 4 points ago +4 / -0

Roman law had a heavy influence on common law, especially concerning civil law and courts.

3
Licensetomeme 3 points ago +3 / -0

Perhaps he means the republic of Rome. Common law, though..... It’d make sense it’d come from the land of the tea.

2
FireannDireach 2 points ago +3 / -1

I get what you're saying, but the overwhelming impact on the formation of our Republic was the Magna Carta, and the founders were clear on that. Roman law is the basis for civil law, which later influenced common law, and the Magna Carta. The Constitution directly references the Magna Carta, and the founders wrote about it extensively, especially as our 13 colonies were granted charters based on the rights of the Magna Carta, and our rebellion at those rights being stripped and subverted by the Crown.

Roman law -> Magna Carta -> The Constitution.

It's a bit of a stretch to compare the history of the USSR to us, as there are no commonalities.

the people have chosen so very poorly of their representation

How do we even know this is true anymore? I know SOOO many people in California and Minnesoate and both groups have always insisted their states should be Red. Aside from [literally] a few counties in each state, they are solid red. SO how do they ALWAYS go massively blue. Now we know about Dominion and Smartmatic and buying votes and machine manipulation and all the millions of ways they are ready to cheat without fear of any repurcussions. For so long I assumed those states were full of liberal morons, but now I wonder if maybe those states (and many others) should have been red long ago if not for widespread corruption and fraud.

I don't think anyone is a doomer for being worried. This is a scary time and we want to see our President succeed against this subversion. I trust Trump, too, and the most direct line we have to him is through his Tweets and his EO's. His EO's have been pretty bold and targeted towards our Department of Defence. And he's said the next 6 weeks will be full of action. I don't think he's banking on the courts. I'm sure it'd help, but Pompeo's remark that there will be a smooth transition into another Trump administration, and Trump knowing it's a Chinese takeover... I don't think he is willing to bank this country on the courts.

4
FireannDireach 4 points ago +4 / -0

He has to exhaust every avenue, even if he's not getting a bigger (ie military) solution together. And if he is gonna go that route, he has to exhaust any possible avenue to sell the reality to the general public.

3
deplorable-sc 3 points ago +3 / -0

Same here. I trust Trump. He's been one step ahead of them for four years. I do wonder if playing this out in the courts was to expose to the American people to the extent of the damage. Even with over 200 judge appointments and 3 supreme court justices, he still cannot get a fair shake. How many people knew, not assumed, but knew that would happen at SCOTUS. With the exception of Alan Dershowitz, most of the legal experts on our side said it was a winner. Heck, Ted Cruz lobbied to represent and was practicing for 18 hrs per day. I don't know what comes next nor how to help, but I stay positive and faithful that we're on the right side of history and we will win.

I share your concerns, friend. Many times over the past months, I've brought up exactly that point, only to be attacked as a "glowie" and downvoted away. I'm glad to see so many people asking those questions lately.

At best, we get well-meant but glib answers like "Join your local militia!" (Which takes it for granted that you have a local militia). Or "Start your own militia!" (I would, if I were any good at doing that. But I'm not). Or "Just ask around at the gun shop!" (I have never been to a gun shop where anyone took kindly to being asked where to find the nearest milita).

For most of us, it just isn't that simple.

Right now, what I'm hoping for is that when the Insurrection Act is invoked and the military are involved in some way, there will be those among them who are assigned to handling the logistics of thousands (millions?) of civilian volunteers with wildly-varying degrees of skills. Something along these lines:

"This is the Commander-in-Chief speaking, via the Emergency Broadcast System. I have made the decision to call up the American Militia as part of the general emergency imposition of Martial Law.

"Those who wish to volunteer for Militia service should report to the parking area of your nearest Post Office or Military Recruiting Station. Those with their own weapons in a military caliber (.308 or .223) will be separated from those who do not. They will all then be classified according to age, health and experience level.

"All Militia volunteers deemed able will be assigned appropriate duties. Thank you for answering your country's call in this extraordinary hour of need."

Now don't start shooting me down over details, folks. This is just my very rough idea of the kind of thing I'm hoping for, not some detailed list of specifics. Because we don't have any national organizational structure at the moment, and I doubt we would even have time to create one before the Insurrection Act hits the fan.

Popularity or its perceptions are meaningless in our bubbles. I trust there are far more patriots than there are any other group, and our notions of popularity are skewed by the censorship of the masses. I also trust this has only grown since what was evidenced have since come to light. Word of mouth is one key factor, but so are the viewerships in the respective state hearings.

The president doesn’t need to keep repeating himself. We all saw what happened. We know what happened. We know what needs to be done, and I’d bet that at least 1/4 of the people that voted for him are ready to let it fly to get the country back. All folks are waiting on is the “go,” from POTUS. Call the militia. Let the American people do what needs to be done.
