The Midwest was majority ethnically German during WWI (and WW2), and they behave as magnificent Patriots. I still believe most Chinese Americans will do the same.
Until their govt is dissolved and they surrender, all are enemy combatants. Particularly any of them on our soil.
Chinese-American citizens, particularly those who have been here for generations - obviously ok.
Ones who immigrated here in the last 10 years (and weren't fleeing the CCP govt specifically / refugees) ... I'd be open to reviewing. No need to go FDR, but I'd check for mainland communication trails at the very least if they exist.
Hong Kong would pretty much be refugee status - particularly these days.
And immigrating from the Eastern Block during the Cold War was far more background intensive and interview intensive than the western nations at the time. That's what I'm referring to.
