In my day Geocities had city names and numbered addresses not fancy usernames for your URL. Then Yahoo took over and screwed everything up.
We were happy to have 56k dial up not like the spoiled fiber multiple gbps millennials and their fancy auto generated memes (we worked a day in MS Paint just to insert some text in a picture that took us an hour to download).
I'm all for it. Let's reset things back to the 90s internet and kick all the normies off. The internet was much better when there was a barrier to entry. We can make this site into a usenet group.
Well if the intetnet gets wacked we're gonna have to bring back webrings
Wow, now you're really taking me back. I forgot that webrings even existed in those days.
My angelfire page has a counter, an animated background, and a midi loop playing.
Use the Netscape <blink> tag a lot.
My aol page had a lot of Simpson’s gags on it. They’re copyrighted
You should come to my city over at geocities.com

We should have a backup like that. Is icq still around?
I'm still waiting for there to be a TDW irc channel.
We all miss that dial up sound....
