Russia’s GDP is about that of New York City (just the city) or Australia. They are not a real threat aside from some decrepit ICBMs. Most of their super-scary sounding weapons systems are vapor ware.

China, on the other hand, is a legitimate rising threat, one that has been downplayed by politicians and media owned by China. Disgraceful.
