We’re supposed to go from FL to TX for a week today (family of 4, 2 small children). I do not want to leave all the supplies I have built up in Minecraft, especially this week.
I’m trying to convince my wife we should stay home. What say you?

Normally I'd suggest an Ender Chest but you may just have to risk it for the biscuit. Texas is rich in supplies so I wouldn't expect it too be too much of an issue. I'd be more concerned about travel limitations.
You driving? You got a CCW? You check to see which states have reciprocity with yours? I'd probably go either way, though. Don't live in fear. Be as prepared as you can, though, legally.

Travel with firearms is legal, with reciprocity. If you’re flying you can’t check your fire arms with the appropriate authorities and pick them up when you land. Don’t go anywhere blind. If family has firearms where you’re going, and they’re based PEDES, voice your concerns and ensure you would have a firearm to use while there if you don’t want to travel with yours

No issues. It took an extra 15 minutes at the small airport and 40 mins at the big one. Read tsa and airline regulations. Ammo needs to be in ammo box not magazines unless they are "fully enclosed". I've read internet posts claiming that tape over the end sufficed.
They are with us and do have firearms. They have not stockpiled food or ammo.
