My best friend did. September. age 53, married 33 years, kids, grandkids. Sent home to work in isolation away from job he had for 35 years with coworkers in office. Afraid of possibly losing his job due to restructuring. No more gym life which he loved, daily visit to coffee shop gone. Then add on top the doom and gloom from the media. I will never forgive China and the dems for doing this.
Sorry for your loss.
Thank you
There is data for it. I'll have to dig when I'm home and off work but the increase in expected deaths were only about 25% directly attributed to SARS-Cov-2.
The remaining 75% of deaths above the normal expected rate was attributed to other causes, namely under reported economic fall out related deaths from Suicide.
Suicide of adolescents has massively skyrocketed.
As a sky note, I fully expect to see a higher divorce rate for this period as well.
I am just a lurker, I am surprised to actually get data on a question I asked.
i can't find current official suicide stats but there is this https://data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Weekly-Counts-of-Deaths-by-State-and-Select-Causes/muzy-jte6
you could probably poke around cdc and find what you're looking for.
