To play the devil's advocate for a moment, SCOTUS did not rule on the merits of the former Texas suit against PA, WI, MI, GA, etc. They ruled, I will agree bizarrely, that the standing was not valid. Meaning the person bringing the suit had not been sufficiently personally wronged. I can only assume that is because the nationally election is not ACTUALLY finished, therefore one cannot make a claim that the actions of those corrupt state elections have affected the whole national election YET. A bit chicken-and-the-egg bizarre, but if I squint I can see the reasoning.
The good thing is they more or less explicitly stated "The person who HAS been wronged (and therefore implied should bring this lawsuit) is the other presidential candidate, Donald J. Trump." Which is what they are doing.
The problem i have with SCOTUS' decision, win or lose this election, their cowardice has opened up a can of worms. Basically if a governor decides to implement a wildly corrupt election policy, you in a law abiding state just have to take it,and your state has no remedy. I can't accept this decision...it's disgusting. It leaves the door open for abuse going forward
