Everyone with a doctorate should be calling themselves "Dr."

Thanks to Jill Biden, every JD, PhD, DBA, EngD, EdD, etc, now gets to refer to themselves as doctors. Suddenly we all get to pretend we have some special authority to lecture about covid!

The title "Doctor" refers to a degree status NOT the ability to attend to another person's health. The term has been appropriated by the health industry the same way the Globohomos stole the Rainbow. If a person studies beyond a Masters degree then they have a "Doctorate"

A doctorate or doctor's degree or doctoral degree, is an academic degree awarded by universities, derived from the ancient formalism licentia docendi. In most countries, it is a research degree that qualifies the holder to teach at university level in the degree's field, or to work in a specific profession.
