That's all interesting, but it misses the bigger historical trend of democratic politics going back to ancient Athens. The Frankfurt school, marxism, and post-modernism are nothing new. They existed in Plato's time (though obv by different names) and were his (and Socrates') primary target. It's what philosophy was invented to destroy. Plato failed and Athens destroyed itself. I dont think the marxists/critical theorists even realize this, and are most likely being moved by predictable shifts in value that come along with affluence and democratic politics.
Still not sure what any of this has to do with adopting Haitian kids. Christians have always taken an interest in helping the poor and modern Christians see adoption as a way to save kids from the horrors of life in shithole countries.
