Fair enough. Long story short, today is like a little mini election day for all 50 states. The chosen electors are casting paper ballots which are sealed and mailed to Washington, D.C. Joint session of Congress on Jan 6th will open, count, and certify the ballots to determine the winner. They have until Jan 20th to argue and do whatever they need to do to settle on a winner.
Whatever the media reports today, regardless of who is reported as the winner (EVEN IF IT'S TRUMP), is fake. I don't know where they are getting their data - maybe polling electors or election officials? Maybe just assuming by state popular vote from election day? Doesn't matter, because per the constitution, the president of the senate (Pence) is the one to open and count the votes.
